MAY 5-9, 2024

Welcome to the luxury Fairmont Mayakoba, a private, gated 5-star resort situated on the Caribbean shoreline in the Riviera Maya. The region of Riviera Maya is located in the southeast of Mexico along the coast of the Caribbean Sea, and is famous for its miles of soft beaches, Mayan ruins, and world-class scuba diving.

Designed to preserve the sprawling mangrove forest, the environmentally conscious Fairmont Mayakoba is thoughtfully built in and around the jungle, with most accommodations set back from the sea. Clear freshwater canals and placid lagoons crisscross the large property, which feels wonderfully wild.

To help you explore the expansive resort grounds, complimentary golf cart shuttles operate in a continuous loop throughout the property. Shuttle stops locations can be seen on the interactive map below.

The Fairmont Mayakoba features ten restaurants and bars, six pools, a spa center with 20 treatment rooms, a fitness center, and a private beach.

Adobe will be hosting you and your guest as an all-Inclusive stay. You will have unlimited dining and premium beverage service at all on-property restaurants with the exception of Ki Korean BBQ. In-room dining is included from 7 AM to 10 PM. Your in-room mini bar with soft drinks, local and imported beer, water, light snacks, and sweets is available for your enjoyment in the comfort of your room, which will be restocked nightly. Program

Program Inclusions

You will receive two economy-class round-trip tickets from your home city to Cancun, Mexico, four nights’ all-inclusive stay at the Fairmont Mayakoba, all meals, beverages, and gratuity as part of the all-inclusive package, and two hosted activities of your choice (to be selected at the time of registration) for you and your guest. You will need to provide a credit card to cover any additional costs above and beyond the program events and activities.

Guests/Children

As a Platinum Club winner, we invite you to bring one adult guest who is 21 years of age or older. We ask that you don’t bring another Adobe employee unless that person is a spouse or domestic partner. Because Platinum Club is a team-building business event, we ask that you do not bring children (no exceptions).

Water

Tap water in Mexico is generally not safe for drinking, even at the resort. It is advisable to consume bottled or purified water to prevent any potential health concerns. The resort will provide bottled water to your rooms on a nightly basis, please ensure that your “do not disturb” sign is off your door in the evenings to receive this delivery with turndown service. Fairmont Mayakoba also offers water bottle refill stations throughout the resort.

Attire

The attire for most Platinum Club events is resort casual. Be sure to pack a light sweater or jacket, comfortable walking shoes, swimsuit, and any other specific items you may need based on your selected activities. All evening events are held outdoors on a beach or lawn. Please be cognizant of your footwear. We recommend wedges or flats rather than heels. Below is the suggested attire for all program activities.

Resort Casual

Comfortable and relaxed wear for daytime activities, such as shorts, skirts, pants, sundresses, and casual shirts.

Evening Resort Casual

A slightly more polished version of daytime attire, including resort wear, casual skirts or dresses, pants, polos, button-down shirts, khakis, and casual pants. Men may choose well-fitted blazers, collared shirts, dress pants, and stylish loafers. Women often go for chic midi dresses, jumpsuits, or separates, complemented by fashionable wedges or dressy flats. The emphasis is on comfort and style. Shorts are not suitable for evening events.

Fiesta Blanca (Night 2 Dinner)

An all-white outfit for a chic and stylish beach party. Be creative and express your personal style while adhering to the white color theme.

Hosted Activities/Tours

Dress according to the specific requirements of the activity you’ve chosen. For water activities, water shoes are often necessary. Detailed attire guidelines for each activity can be found on the activities page linked for your convenience.

Hospitality Desk

Upon your arrival to the Fairmont Mayakoba on Sunday, May 5th, staff will help direct you to the hospitality suite. At this time you will receive your welcome packet, name badge, activity confirmations, and other important program information. There will be staff available to assist you with dinner and spa appointments on-property. Throughout the duration of the program, the Platinum Club hospitality desk will be located in the foyer space of the Mimosa Ballroom for the duration of the week. Staff will be available to assist with any arrangements or questions you may have during your stay.

Travel

Expand All +

As a part of your reward you will receive round-trip coach airfare for you and your guest, along with four nights hotel accommodations at the Fairmont Mayakoba, May 5–9, 2024.

All participants attending are required to register for hotel and air travel via the registration website.

Once you have completed your registration, the Platinum Club Travel Team will reach out to you to confirm your travel plans within 5 business days with your proposed itinerary. If the plans meet your approval, you must provide written approval (via email) to the Travel Team within 24 hours. After completing the registration process, a member of the Travel Team will reach out to confirm your plans.

If you wish to upgrade to premium, business, or first class, we will do our best to accommodate your request. The cost to upgrade will be deducted from the coach-class travel on the main event travel dates. Any additional flights and/or deviations from the main event location will incur deviation fees of $100 per person plus the cost of the additional cities and/or flights.

Personal extensions at the Fairmont Mayakoba are available 3 nights prior and 3 nights post Platinum Club dates at our all-inclusive group rate starting at $1167 + taxes and fees for a double occupancy room, and is subject to hotel availability. If you would like to extend your trip at the host hotel, please add your requested Check-In and Check-Out on the hotel page of registration, and the Platinum Club Travel Team will assist in booking and confirming your personal extension nights with the hotel. Please note that all costs related to pre and post extensions are at your own expense.

If you are traveling outside of the program dates and would like transportation to the Fairmont Mayakoba on program arrival day, arrangements can be made with the Travel Team when you complete registration.

If you have a change of plans and can no longer attend Platinum Club, please contact the Adobe Travel Team as soon as possible to assist you.

A valid passport is required for travel into, and out of, Mexico. Your passport MUST be valid for six (6) months past your scheduled date of departure from Mexico. The name on your passport MUST exactly match your airline tickets or you may be denied boarding, asked to pay a fee, or asked to purchase a new ticket by your carrier. A valid passport is required at hotel check-in.

A visa may be required for your travel. Please contact your local embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date information. Be sure to check not only your destination but also your connecting cities/countries for transit-visa requirements. Note that all non-U.S. and Canadian passport holders must hold either a valid visa or an ESTA (for Visa Waiver Program) to transit the United States. All non-U.S. citizens planning to travel or transit the United States should visit travel.state.gov for additional information.

With increased security measures at airports, it is recommended that you check in at least three hours prior to your international departure and two hours prior to your domestic departure. You must present your government-issued passport upon check-in.

Upon your arrival into Cancun, please make your way through customs and baggage claim on your own. Our team will not be allowed inside the airport. You will need to exit the airport completely before looking for a staff member wearing a blue shirt and white pants, holding a sign with the Platinum Club logo. They will escort you to your transportation.

As you make your way outside the terminal after baggage claim, you will be approached by timeshare salespeople, who can be persistent and may delay your journey if you engage with them. It is best to be polite but firm in declining their offers, and continue until you are outside the airport to locate our staff members.

It is highly recommended that you carry a photo ID with you at all times. This may be a passport, driver’s license, or national identity card.

Luggage restrictions vary depending on the carrier. Please consult the airline for specific luggage restrictions and applicable fees.

You are generally allowed one carry-on piece plus one personal item per person. Strict security measures have placed restrictions on liquids in carry-on luggage. All liquid items must be less than 3.4 ounces and must be placed into a single quart-sized Ziploc bag for screening at the security checkpoint. Please be sure to check guidelines and policies prior to your trip as they may vary from country to country.

We recommend that you place the following items in your carry-on luggage rather than in your checked luggage:

  • Airline Itinerary
  • Passport and Visa (if needed)
  • Other form(s) of Government-Issued Identification
  • Cash
  • Sweater/Jacket
  • Prescription Medicine
  • A Change of Clothing (in case your luggage arrival is delayed)
  • Other Valuables and Fragile Items

Major credit and debit cards are accepted at most hotels, shops, and restaurants in Mexico.

Please check with your phone carrier regarding long-distance phone and internet service charges. Roaming charges will apply to many plans, so please be mindful of this. International roaming costs or additional fees incurred for personal calls will be considered a personal expense. Internet service is available at the resort, and it is recommended to use an internet-based calling service while in Mexico.

  1. Only the Platinum Club qualifier and one adult guest, over the age of 21 years, are permitted to attend the award trip. Other guests/relatives, including anyone under the age of 21 are not permitted. A qualifier may not bring another Adobe employee as a guest, unless such employee is the spouse, significant other, or immediate family member of the qualifier.
  2. No cash reimbursements or compensation of any kind will be made for any Platinum Club qualifier or prospective guest who is unable to or does not attend the award trip for any reason whatsoever.
  3. The Platinum Club award winner must be an employee in good standing with Adobe at the time of the trip. Employees on a written corrective action plan will not be eligible to participate.
  4. The taxable value of the Platinum Club award trip for the qualifier and guest will be added to the earnings of the qualifier and appropriate deductions will be made in the year in which the trip is taken (where applicable based on local tax jurisdiction).
  5. Notwithstanding all other performance criteria, the final eligibility and selection of all Platinum Club winners will be subject to the approval of the EVP, Digital Experience, and Worldwide Sales and Field Operations.
  6. Upon being declared a Platinum Club qualifier, the qualifier must nominate their adult guest as part of the registration process. Although any change to the originally nominated guest will be accommodated if possible, any additional charges incurred (e.g., contractual, ticketing, fare structure, etc.) will be the sole responsibility of the qualifier, payable in advance.
  7. Should the Platinum Club winner not be sharing a room with their adult guest, the additional room (subject to availability) will be chargeable to the winner in advance.
  8. Medical/accident coverage for each Platinum Club qualifier (and for any guest who is already a participant in an Adobe health insurance plan) will be provided under the terms and conditions of the applicable insurance plan. Coverage for legal services, emergency transportation, lost luggage (limited), and language translation may be available at the qualifier’s expense.
    1. Note regarding guests—if a guest is not a participant in an Adobe health insurance plan, the guest is solely responsible for his/her own medical, accident, and all other insurance coverage while a part of the Platinum Club award trip. Adobe does not assume any liability for guests except as described above for those participating in an Adobe insurance policy.
  9. The Platinum Club guidelines are subject to change throughout the year. Revisions will be in writing and will be approved by the EVP, Digital Experience, and Worldwide Sales and Field Operations. The Platinum Club may be cancelled, revised, and/or postponed at any time and for any reason. Participation in Platinum Club is dependent on meeting the eligibility criteria.

During the registration process, you will be asked to provide your credit card number for personal expenses that you may incur during the program. Expenses such as laundry, telephone, and gift shop will be at your own expense.

Expenses incurred above and beyond the Adobe Club program inclusions (i.e., additional excursions, lunch while sightseeing) are the participant’s responsibility and not eligible for expense reimbursement. Travel incidentals (i.e., airport parking, mileage, etc.) incurred at Platinum Club are subject to reimbursement according to the attendee’s manager and should be in accordance with the Adobe Global Travel & Expense Reimbursement Policy. The Platinum program/cost center is not responsible for other travel incidentals.

Personal air extensions will be billed from the agency Enterprise Events Group, Inc. on your credit card statement.
